Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SweetArt mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Venües (the "Company") based in Türkiye. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SweetArt. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older, that you have not previously been suspended or removed from SweetArt, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and to keep your profile up to date. You may have only one account at a time. You may not let anyone else use your account or use someone else's account.

3. Conduct on the Service

When using SweetArt, you agree that you will not:

We may remove content, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these rules — at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the photos, text, briefs, messages, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant SweetArt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, modify (only as necessary for technical operations like resizing), and use it solely to operate and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups retained briefly for security purposes.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content, and that it does not violate the law or anyone else's rights.

5. Photo moderation

We run automated moderation on uploaded photos to detect explicit content. Approval is automatic when our checks pass; otherwise the photo is rejected and you may upload a different one. We may also remove photos manually if they violate these Terms. Moderation is imperfect; we are not liable for content that briefly appears before being removed.

6. Aesthetic data

Your aesthetic quiz picks are used to compute an aesthetic profile shown to you and used as a soft signal in matching. We do not share your raw quiz answers with other users.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features (e.g., SweetArt+, SweetArt Premium, Boosts, Super Likes) may require payment. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through your store account before the renewal date. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies; we cannot issue refunds directly except where required by law.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse other users, or for legal or safety reasons. On termination, your access to the Service ends and your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not verify the identity, age, background, or intentions of users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Be cautious — never share financial information, never send money to someone you've only met online, and meet in public for first dates.

If you are a victim of harm related to a SweetArt interaction, contact local authorities and report the user via the in-app reporting flow.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SweetArt, Venües, and our affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 EUR — whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SweetArt, Venües, and our affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.

If you reside in the EU/EEA/UK, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
